This year I finally checked out the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and it did not disappoint! Luckily, Seattle is just a short drive from many incredible opportunities - this Tulip Festival being one of them. Every April-ish is when the festival takes place, but the days vary depending on when the flowers bloom.  We were incredibly lucky - although the daffodils had already departed, the tulips of all colors were out, and the weather was beautiful in the Mount Vernon area!
